Sales Policy

By reading the sales agreement stated below, you agree to our sales policy when contacting Riverside Hollands to inquire and purchase a Holland Lop from us.

• Riverside Hollands has the right to have first pick of any litters to add back to our breeding stock. We also have the right to refuse a sale if we feel you do not seem like a right fit for one of our babies.

• We currently breed and offer babies in harlequin, tri, chocolate, and otters. From time to time, there may be Vienna marked litters and then some clean line (no Vienna in their pedigree).

• No bunny is held or claimed until a 50% deposit of the retail price is sent. Deposit should be sent within 24 hours of contacting us about thee said bunny. Once the deposit is received, it cannot be transferred to another bunny unless thee said bunny happens to pass in my care from unforseen circumstances. It is also not refundable if you decide to back out later from the sale. We usually open and start taking deposits at 6 weeks of age. For deposits, we accept Venmo and Facebook pay.

• Transport should be looked into before you decide to place a deposit on thee said bunny. We are not responsible for transport nor their fees. We can however recommend several transports that we have personally use and trust.

• Our prices are non negotiable and reflect the time we put into handling and socializing them, their feed, and any preventative medicine we give them before they leave.

• Buyers must be 18 or older to purchase a bunny. If you are under 18, then one of your parents or guardians must do the corresponding and purchasing on your behalf.

• All babies are sexed to best of our ability, but please remember, mistakes do happen from time to time.

• No baby leaves our premises until they are 8 weeks old. If a baby is born from one of our more petite does, they will not leave till 10 weeks of age. This is not negotiable.

• We are a closed rabbitry and therefore, no visitors are permitted on the premises due to bio security, privacy, and for the safety of my family. If picking up locally, I will contact you to schedule a place, date, and time to meet to pick up your new furry friend.

I will only travel up to 20-30 minutes from my home for pickups and can only do them on the weekends.

• Final payment is due a week before transport routes start. This can be made through the same way you sent the deposit. For local pickups, cash is preferred at the time of meeting us.

• If you fail to respond to emails and messages for pickups or are a no show on pickup day, you will forfeit your bunny, no refund will be given, and it will go back up for adoption. I do not have time to meet multiple times for pickups due to having small young children to tend to and other potential families to meet. So please be punctual on pickup day.

• Every bunny that leaves Riverside Hollands is promised to be healthy and in good condition best to our knowledge. Once they leave our hands, we are not responsible for what happens to them once they are in your care. Please make sure you do your research so your bunny will have the best outcome and transition to their new home.

• When your bunny leaves for their new home, they will come with a ziplock bag of transition feed, Kalmbach 16% Best in Show, and their pedigree. If using transport, pedigree will be emailed in PDF format. They will also have been given coccidia preventative medicine and a dose of worming as well.

• If you find that you can no longer take care of your bunny, please contact me if you find a new home for them as I would like to know where my babies go and end up at. If you are having trouble finding them a new home, I will also do my best to help you with this as well.
